Delete your HarmonyBudget account

1. Open the Harmony Budget app and sign in.
2. On the Home screen, tap the person icon in the top header to open your Profile.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Enter your password to confirm it’s you.
5. Tap Delete forever.

Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out on that device.

If you can’t sign in, or you’ve already uninstalled the app, email privacy@harmonybudget.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.” We may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it, so that nobody else can delete your account. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account on its own.

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• your account details: email address and password;
• your savings plan, down-payment target, and FHSA answers, plus earlier versions of your plan;
• every contribution and auto-debit you’ve logged;
• your daily streak, milestones, notifications, and reminder settings;
• your app preferences and push notification tokens;
• any dream-home images you created in the app;
• your sign-in sessions and one-time codes;
• any bank or email connections you linked.

Conversations with Penny, the in-app money coach, are stored only on your device. They are removed when you uninstall the app.

• Backups. Copies of deleted data can remain in our encrypted backups for up to 90 days, until they are overwritten.
• Usage and security logs. Kept for up to 24 months for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement.
• Records we must keep by law. Kept only as long as the law requires, then deleted.
